REVIEW OF LITERATURE FOR HEALTH RELATED RESEARCH AND EVIDENCE.
Complete a review of the evidence from nursing literature pertinent to the PICOT question
and ultimate research utilization project (EBP). Essentially, this review analyzes,
synthesizes, and evaluates the current evidence pertinent to the clinical
question guiding your group project. A minimum of 2 research articles per
student is required The purpose of the ROL is to compare and contrast the range of research
(e.g., purpose of the study,
design, sample size, findings, implications for practice, and what the study
lends to your proposed EBP).
The review of literature will
be prefaced with an introduction, which describes the context of the project,
that is, the clinical problem and the purpose of the EBP. Further instructions for
the ROL will be forthcoming as the course modules are posted.
