Daily Health Log: 

For this assignment, you will be asked to keep a health log. The best way to ensure good health is to live a healthy lifestyle. To get a feel for how healthy our lifestyles really are, we can simply keep a journal (log) that helps us monitor our behaviors. For three consecutive days, you will keep a daily health log that lists and describes; 1) Nutrition, 2) sleep, 3) Exercise, 4) Stress, and any other events that my impact your health. Write down everything you eat and drink on each of the days. (you can organize it as breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks if you want). 1. Tell me the amount of time you exercised, whether it was aerobic or non-aerobic exercise. 3. Write down the amount of sleep you got the night before. 4. What are your stress levels? On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being “extremely stressed” and 0 being “no stress”, rate your stress level for each day. Remember, stress is a matter of your perception. Thus, however stressed you feel, that’s all that matters. 5. Critique your health habits. Write down what you think you are doing that is healthy, and whatever you are doing that is NOT healthy. NOTE: You are not being graded on whether you are healthy or not. It’s more important that you understand what is healthy for this assignment.
