Address Lewin’s three-step model:

Read:  https://www.pioneernetwork.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2018-01-Kurt-Lewins-Change-Theory.pdf

Step 1 Unfreeze:  Identify the “status quo” to determine what needs to be focused on during the “unfreeze” stage.  This includes determining what needs to change and understanding why change is necessary.  Some suggestions could be to survey the staff/individuals, obtain stakeholder support, focus on the positive impact, and communicate the need for the change with regard to long term vision.

Step 2 Change:  This is the phase where the “change” is implemented.  Address how the change will be communicated to include what is involved such as who is affected, clarify misunderstandings and rumors.  Address how those involved will be included with implementing the change such as the use of daily/weekly direction, distribution of promotional material, and ways for employee involvement.

Step 3 Refreeze:  This phase is to sustain the change enacted.  Educational offerings, appropriate communicating with feedback, and creating rewards are ways to consider supporting the change.

Presentation:  After completion of the paper prepare a PowerPoint and upload it to youtube or to a zoom presentation.  All group members should contribute.  Narrate the slides that you develop.   Submit the youtube or zoom link to the dropbox.  Zoom is available within the course (under communications tab) and submit that link to the designated drop box.

*Publishing the presentation to youtube: Microsoft has preset tools to help its users easily convert PowerPoint to YouTube video and then upload PowerPoint to YouTube: Windows PowerPoint (2010 and later versions) and Windows Live Movie Maker. The below guide would show you how to turn a PowerPoint into a YouTube video and then upload PowerPoint to YouTube with these 2 apps:
