Since these issues extend beyond their personal relationships and may be related to institutional and societal dynamics, human service professionals often need to engage in advocacy on behalf of clients in order to promote social justice. Explain how advocacy can be used to support women and girls. In groups of 3-4, discuss the following prompts with your peers:
